Left to her own devices

Left to her own devices
 She'd create a multi-verse
Filled with sentiments and spices
 And the occasional roaming hearse..

Left all alone she'd drift
 And invent another curse
That'd make the land plates shift
 And the rivers' flow reverse..

But-
Left with no other choices
  She'd (in reality) immerse
Yet she'd hear the longing voices
  Of her abandoned multi-verse...

Two kisses

two kisses
above my shoulder blades
they itch
         and sting
                   and writhe
flesh parts
     bones burrow outward
                bending, billowing
– salt pours from my eyes
and my clenched teeth and throat
     choke on crimson froth –
feathers flesh
- - two kisses      blossom.
